Meet Shreveport Biscuit Company
Shreveport Cottage Homestead began in the fall of 2020 as a small holiday pie making business. Following a layoff during the kickoff of the pandemic, owner Kanya Michelle decided to make pies and other treats in order to make money while she finished her undergraduate degree. Together, she and her partner Paul Loggins began to create scones, pies, tasty drinks and cocktail mixers to sell at pop up events.
In the summer of 2022 Shreveport Cottage Homestead transitioned to Shreveport Biscuit Company, a brand focused on small batch handmade buttermilk biscuits and all the fixins! Our frozen ready-to-bake biscuits can now be found across Louisiana at local retailers or you can join us at our storefront on Line Ave in Shreveport for fresh baked biscuits, biscuit sandwiches, and a selection of our frozen ready-to-bake biscuits!
