Broadmoor Neighbors Lifting UP Broadmoor

Shreveport Biscuit Company has been a Broadmoor-based business since it's birth in 2020: the idea for the business was born from a desire to live closer to our own backyard.

That is why we are involved with Broadmoor UP, an organization enriching the Broadmoor community by providing a neighborhood co-op, community produce gardens, community outreach programs, and educational opportunities.

We invite you to engage with your community and join us in supporting Broadmoor UP while taking part in the many available opportunities to commune, learn, and grow with your neighbors!

Weekly Co-op Meeting: every Sunday starting at 1:00 PM



Every week the Broadmoor community meets in the parking lot of the Broadmoor Branch of the Shreveport Memorial Library (1212 Captain Shreve Drive) to trade and commune with neighbors. Chocolate chip cookies, smiles, and new friends are always in attendance. Check the Broadmoor co-op Facebook page for updates and themes each week. Co-ops past have seen Uno competitions, pie cook-offs, and cookbook trading!

Homestead Basics: once-monthly



Homestead Basics is a once-monthly FREE class provided by Broadmoor UP and organized by Shreveport Biscuit Company aimed to provide basic homestead knowledge to Broadmoor neighbors. All classes take place at the Broadmoor Branch of the Shreveport Memorial Library (1212 Captain Shreve Drive), but times vary. Check the Broadmoor UP & Shreveport Biscuit Company Facebook pages for up-to-date information on times and class offerings!
